Moessbauer Emission Spectra of 119Sn in Binary Compounds of Antimony and Tellurium
Ambe, Shizuko,Ambe, Fumitoshi
, p. 1935 - 1940 (1995)
The Moessbauer emission spectra of defect 119Sn atoms arising from 119Sb and 119mTe were measured in GaSb, InSb, In2Te3, ZnSb, CdSb, CdTe, and Ag2Te.The lattice sites of defect 119Sn atoms in these binary compounds were determined on the basis of the obta
121Sb Zeeman NQR spectra of a CdSb single crystal
Kravchenko,Marenkin,Sidel'nikova,Mikhailov
, p. 728 - 733 (2008/10/08)
With the aim of determining the magnetic properties of main Group V compounds, a cadmium antimonide single crystal was grown and studied by 121Sb NQR Zeeman spectroscopy. Single-crystal Zeeman spectra display some features that were observed earlier in the 209Bi NQR spectra of a Bi4Ge3O12 single crystal and were an indication of the presence of ordered local magnetic fields in it. The orientation of electric-field gradient (EFG) about the unit-cell crystallographic axes is estimated for antimony atoms in the CdSb crystal. Experimental data necessary for subsequent computer simulation of the NQR spectra of cadmium antimonide in external magnetic fields are obtained.
Preparation and Application of Optimized Cadmium Antimonide Materials
Ashcheulov,Voronka,Marenkin,Rarenko
, p. 920 - 929 (2008/10/08)
The potentialities of optical, photoelectric, anisotropic thermoelectric, and optothermoelectric cadmium antimonide materials are considered. We describe designs of apparatuses, physicochemical features of preparation procedures, approaches used for optimization, and properties of particular materials. Cadmium antimonide materials find many practical applications in new optical, thermometric, and other instruments, devices, and components.
ON THE IDENTIFICATION OF NEW AND NORMAL PHASES IN THE SYSTEM OF CADMIUM-ANTIMONY ALLOYS.
Mohamed,Saleh,Abou-Saif,Abd-Rabo,El-Ganainy
, p. 705 - 716 (2008/10/08)
A set of samples of concentrations with 7, 20, 37, 48, 50, 52, and 70 at% Sb were prepared. X-ray diffraction analysis shows a metastable phase not previously identified. This phase is given the chemical formula Cd//5Sb//4 and a unit cell of orthorhombic shape with dimensions of 0. 7309, 0. 5427, and 0. 506 nm for a, b, and c, respectively. The other phases Cd, Sb, CdCb, and Cd//4Sb//3 are identified in both quenched and annealed samples. Contradictions in the phase diagram are discussed.
