Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 120811-85-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,0,8,1 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 120811-85:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*0)+(5*8)+(4*1)+(3*1)+(2*8)+(1*5)=90
90 % 10 = 0
So 120811-85-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

METHOD FOR MAKING TERPENE DERIVATIVES

-

Page/Page column 18-19, (2010/04/03)

Disclosed herein is a method for synthesizing terpenoid compounds, as well as compositions comprising terpenoids and methods for their use. In one aspect the process is represented by the scheme: wherein G is:; and X is;and R1, R2 and R3 independently are selected from H, acyl, lower alkyl and aralkyl; and Y is -O-, -S- or -NH-, and R4 is selected from H, acyl, lower alkyl and aralkyl.

Mass Spectral Fragmentations and Gas Phase Reactions of t-Butyl Peresters

Madhusudanan, K. P.,Misra, Dharmendra,Singh, Chandan

, p. 398 - 401 (2007/10/02)

The mass spectral behaviour of a few aliphatic and aromatic peresters has been studied under electron impact (EI) and chemical ionization (CI) conditions.Under EI, fragmentation of the molecules occurs mainly by C-C cleavage at either side of the carbonyl group. The C4H9O+ ion generated by the attack of the CI reagent on the sample molecule adds on to the molecule leading to (M + 73)+ ion in the CI (i-C4H10) spectra while with the more basic reagent, NH3, clustering of the molecule around NH4+ ion is the predominant pathway for ion formation.
