Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1209005-72-0 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,0,9,0,0 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1209005-72:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*0)+(6*9)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*2)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 1209005-72-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Dendritic zirconium-peroxotungstosilicate hybrids: Synthesis, characterization, and use as recoverable and reusable sulfide oxidation catalysts

Jahier, Claire,Mal, Sib Sankar,Kortz, Ulrich,Nlate, Sylvain

, p. 1559 - 1566 (2010/07/16)

A series of dondrimer-confaining polyoxomotalalos (DENDRIPOMs) was synthesized by coupling zirconium-peroxotungstosilicate [Zr2(O 2)2 (SiW11O39)2] 12 with ammonium dendrons by electrostatic bonding. These DENDRIPOMs were successfully characterized by standard physicochemical techniques (e.g. IR and NMR spectroscopy and MS), and they represent the first examples of dendritic POMs based on zirconium-substituted polytungstates. The data obtained arc consistent with structures in which the anionic POM is surrounded by cationic ammonium dondrons. In contrast to the potassium salt of [Zr2(O 2)2(SiW11O39)2] 12-, the dendritic counterparts are soluble in common organic solvents, an important feature for the use of DENDRIPOMs in homogeneous catalysis. Our DENDRIPOMs are stable, efficient, recoverable, and reusable catalysts for the oxidation of sulfides in aqueous/CDCl3 biphasic media, with hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant, in contrast to their nondendritic n-butyl ammonium counterpart. Two cycles of catalytic reactions were performed without any appreciable loss of activity. We also discovered that the reaction kinetics and selectivity of the DENDRIPOMs arcs influenced by the structure of the countercation used.

Encapsulation of polyoxotungstate into dendrimers by ionic bonding and their use as oxidation catalyst

Jahier, Claire,Plault, Lauriane,Nlate, Sylvain

experimental part, p. 109 - 118 (2010/03/03)

A family of 36-armed dendrimers containing six internal amino groups was synthesized and used to incorporate polyoxometalates (POMs) into their structures by ionic bonding. Allyl-terminated dendrimer 17 (with oxidizable end groups) and methylphenyl-termin
