General Description
Disperse Red 50 is a synthetic dye belonging to the disperse dye class, primarily used for coloring synthetic fibers like polyester, acetate, and nylon. This chemical is insoluble in water and is usually dispersed in a non-ionic surfactant or water-soluble dispersant before application. Disperse Red 50 is commonly used in various industries such as textile, paper, and leather for its vibrant and long-lasting color properties. However, its use can pose environmental and health hazards if not handled properly, as it contains toxic elements and may cause skin and eye irritation. Proper safety precautions and regulations must be followed when using Disperse Red 50 to minimize its potential risks.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12223-35-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,2,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12223-35:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*3)+(1*5)=57
57 % 10 = 7
So 12223-35-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
