General Description
Methyl paederosidate is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of methylated esters of carboxylic acids. It is derived from the natural compound paederosidate, which is found in various plant species. Methyl paederosidate has been isolated and studied for its potential pharmacological properties, including its ability to inhibit the growth of certain cancer cell lines. It has also been investigated for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. Methyl paederosidate shows potential as a lead compound for the development of new drugs for the treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases. Further research is needed to fully understand its biological activities and therapeutic potential.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 122413-01-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,2,4,1 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 122413-01:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*4)+(4*1)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*1)=68
68 % 10 = 8
So 122413-01-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 505 - 514 (2002)
Four iridoid glucosides, three of which are dimeric were isolated from the methanol extract of roots of Vietnamese Paederia scandens (Lour) Merrill together with the five known glucosides, paederoside, asperuloside, paederosidic acid, asperulosidic acid and geniposide. Seven sulfur-containing iridoid glucosides were also isolated. The structures of the iridoid glucosides were determined by a combination of high-resolution NMR, MS, IR and UV spectra, and chemical reaction such as acetylation.
