Amidine pseudodisaccharides
Knapp, Spencer,Choe, Yun H.,Reilly, Eileen
, p. 4443 - 4446 (2007/10/02)
The synthesis of several aminoglucopyranose-based amidine pseudodisaccharides is described. They may serve as glycosidase inhibitors by virtue of structural similarities to both the reducing and non-reducing pyranose units involved in glycolysis.
DI- OR TRIPEPTIDE RENIN INHIBITORS CONTAINING LACTAM CONFORMATIONAL RESTRICTION IN ACHPA
-
, (2008/06/13)
Enzyme di-or tripeptides of the formula: STR1 and analogs thereof which inhibit renin and are useful for treating various forms of renin-associated hypertension, hyperaldosteronism and congestive heart failure; compositions containing these renin-inhibitory peptides, optionally with other antihypertensive agents; and methods of treating hypertension, hyperaldosteronism or congestive heart failure or of establishing renin as a causative factor in these problems which employ these novel peptides.
Renin Inhibitors Containing Conformationally Restricted P1-P1' Dipeptide Mimetics
Williams, Peter D.,Perlow, Debra S.,Payne, Linda S.,Holloway, M. Katharine,Siegl, Peter K. S.,et al.
, p. 887 - 900 (2007/10/02)
A series of renin inhibitors containing lactam-bridged P1-P1' dipeptide mimetics based on the ACHPA (4(S)-amino-5-cyclohexyl-3(S)-hydroxypentanoic acid) design was studied. The inhibitors were obtained by aldol addition of various lac
