Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1236168-49-2 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,3,6,1,6 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1236168-49:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*3)+(6*6)+(5*1)+(4*6)+(3*8)+(2*4)+(1*9)=152
152 % 10 = 2
So 1236168-49-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Rapid two-step synthesis of drug-like polycyclic substances by sequential multi-catalysis cascade reactions

Ramachary, Dhevalapally B.,Mondal, Rumpa,Venkaiah, Chintalapudi

supporting information; experimental part, p. 321 - 325 (2010/02/16)

An efficient amino acid-/self-/base-/ruthenium-/thermal-catalyzed two-step process for the synthesis of functionalized drug-like carbocycles was achieved through combinations of cascade TCRA/C-allylation/enyne-RCM/Diels-Alder reactions as key steps starting from simple acyclic substrates. In this communication, we report the two-step synthesis of drug-like carbocycles through a combination of organocatalysis with ruthenium-catalysis.

Rapid Synthesis of Functionalized Indenes, Triazoles, and Glucocorticoid Receptor Modulators by Sequential Multicatalysis Cascade Reactions

Ramachary, Dhevalapally B.,Mondal, Rumpa,Venkaiah, Chintalapudi

supporting information; experimental part, p. 3205 - 3210 (2010/08/20)

A general process for the synthesis of substituted indenes and 1,2,3-triazoles was achieved, for the first time through a multicatalysis cascade reaction of 2-ethynylbenzaldehydes, CH acids, organic hydrides, and azides in the presence of a catalytic amount of L-proline/CuI/DIPEA. In this communication, we discovered the utilization of a single copper catalyst for two different reactions and shown synthetic application to the high-yielding synthesis of glucocorticoid receptor modulators.
