Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1246404-48-7 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,4,6,4,0 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1246404-48:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*4)+(6*6)+(5*4)+(4*0)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*8)=137
137 % 10 = 7
So 1246404-48-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
