Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 128793-18-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,8,7,9 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 128793-18:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*8)+(5*7)+(4*9)+(3*3)+(2*1)+(1*8)=160
160 % 10 = 0
So 128793-18-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and evaluation of poly(oxyethylene glycol) polymer (POP) supports

McCairn, Mark C.,Tonge, Stephen R.,Sutherland, Andrew J.

, p. 4847 - 4855 (2007/10/03)

Mono- and α,ω-bis-styryl-oligo(oxyethylene glycol) ethers have been constructed in an efficient two-step synthesis. From these precursors, poly(oxyethylene glycol) polymer (POP) supports of varying monomer and cross-linker composition have been produced. The swelling properties and mass-solvent uptake of these novel materials have been evaluated in a variety of solvents, demonstrating that POP supports exhibit enhanced solvent compatibilities over the commercial resins TENTAGEL, ARGO-GEL, and Merrifield's resin. The utility of POP supports in solid-phase organic chemistry has also been demonstrated successfully. It is anticipated that these high-loading polymeric supports will have generic application in the solid-phase synthesis of combinatorial libraries and the in situ screening of these libraries in the aqueous environment of a bioassay.

Efficient intramolecular [2 + 2] photocycloaddition of styrene derivatives toward new crown ethers

Inokuma, Seiichi,Yamamoto, Takamasa,Nishimura, Jun

, p. 97 - 100 (2007/10/02)

New crown ethers, exhibiting high Li+-selectivity on the solid-liquid extraction, were prepared from α,ω-bis(ρ-vinylphenyl)oligo(oxyethylenes) by the title reaction in excellent yields.
