1,3-Dtpolar cycloadditioo reactions of chromone nitrones 1 have been carried out successfully under microwave irradiation. The reaction of nitrone 1 and alkene 2 proceeds regiospecifically at atmospheric pressure and the corresponding chromone linked isoxazolidines 3 are obtained in high yields.
