A pyridinium compound having a bisresorcinol moiety forms a two-point adduct with monoanion of flavin mononucleotide (FMN) in CHCl3-CH3OH (99.7:0.3) via a pyridinium-phosphate electrostatic interaction and an isoalloxazine-bisresorcinol hydrogen bonding.
