130-84-7 Usage
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
DIMETHYL (Z)-2,3-DIACETYLOXYBUT-2-ENEDIOATE is used as a key intermediate in the synthesis of HIV-1 integrase inhibitors. These inhibitors are crucial in the development of antiretroviral drugs, which are essential for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. The compound's ability to form specific chemical bonds and its reactivity make it a valuable component in the creation of these life-saving medications.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 130-84-7 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 1,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 130-84:
(5*1)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*8)+(1*4)=37
37 % 10 = 7
So 130-84-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

HIV integrase inhibitors based on a novel bicyclic pyrimidinone core is presented. Nine variations of the core scaffold are evaluated leading to optimization of the 6:6 core giving compound 48 with an EC50 of 3 nM against wild type HIV infected T-cells.
