(Chemical Equation Presented) Sphingolipid phosphate analogues bearing 7-(diethylamino)-coumarin (DECM) and 4-bromo-5-hydroxy-2-nitrobenzhydryl (BHNB) groups in a photolabile ester bond were synthesized.
