1319-82-0 Usage

Chemical Properties

Aminocaproic Acid is an antifibrinolytic drug. It can qualitatively inhibit the binding of plasminogen to fibrin and prevent its activation, thereby inhibiting fibrinolysis. High concentration (100mg/L) directly inhibits plasmin activity and achieves hemostatic effect.

Uses

Aminocaproic acid is suitable for the prevention and treatment of various bleeding caused by hyperfibrinolysis.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1319-82-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,3,1 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1319-82:
(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*1)+(3*9)+(2*8)+(1*2)=70
70 % 10 = 0
So 1319-82-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

In order to investigate the effect of branching and cyclization in the hydrophobic part of skin permeation enhancers, 17 novel branched-chain and cyclic 6-aminohexanoic acid esters were prepared. Their permeation enhancing activity was evaluated in vitro using human skin and theophylline as a mo...detailed

Original articleComparison of the Effect of Histidine-Rich Glycoprotein and 6-aminohexanoic acid (cas 1319-82-0) on Plasmin Production and Fibrinolysis in Vitro08/18/2019

Because histidine-rich glycoprotein binds to the kringle 1-3 domain of plasminogen, it may affect fibrinolysis by reducing fibrin-dependent plasmin production, and in this way it could be mechanistically analogous to 6-aminohexanoic acid. We tested this hypothesis by comparing the effects of his...detailed
