Novel Heteroarotinoids: Synthesis and Biological Activity

In this study, 13 heteroarotinoids were synthesized.The key step in each preparation was the condensation of the appropriate chroman-, thiochroman-, or benzothienyl-substituted phosphorus ylide, obtained from the independent synthesis of the corresponding
