Reaction of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole with mono- and dibenzalcycloalkanones gives 4,7-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolopyrimidines annelated by five-, six-, or seven-membered carbocycles.They can be dehydrogenated to the corresponding heteroatomics.The spectro-luminescent properties of the compounds obtained are discussed.
