Used in Textile Industry:
3-Hydroxy-N-2-naphthyl-2-naphthamide is used as a dyeing agent for cotton, cotton yarn, and bath towels. It is also suitable for dyeing PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), viscose, silk, and polyamide fibers. However, it is generally not used for printing purposes. The compound has a high affinity for cotton and a medium coupling ability.
