Method for producing solvent yellow 163 dye

The invention relates to a method for producing a solvent yellow 163 dye. The method comprises (a) adding an organic solvent, chlorobenzene, a hydrosulfiding reagent and an auxiliary agent into a reaction vessel, stirring to dissolve materials to obtain a first mixture, and then heating the first mixture to 100-150 DEG C until the reaction end point, (b) cooling the product to 40 to 50 DEG C, directly adding 1, 8-dinitroguanidine into the product, and carrying out stirring for a reaction until the end point, (c) cooling the product to 20 to 35 DEG C and carrying out suction filtration to obtain filter cake and a filtrate, and (d) washing and soaking the filter cake through a separation solvent, mixing the soaking solution and the filtrate, carrying out distillation recovery, washing the filter cake through hot water until pH of 7 and carrying out drying. The method solves the problem of the logistics and storage costs caused by the difficulty in purchasing thiophenols due to environmental protection. The thiophenol intermediate is prepared through a one-bath method so that the normal production is ensured. The method greatly reduces the production cost by about 30-40% and has goodeconomic benefits.
