Facile synthesis of novel fluorinated thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives containing 1,3,4-thiadiazole

A series of novel fluorinated thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives incorporating 1,3,4-thiadiazole were synthesized by a facile microwave-assisted procedure, including the cyclization of 2-aminothiophene-3-carbonitrile with trifluoroacetic acid, chlorinati
