Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1380109-93-2 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,3,8,0,1,0 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1380109-93:
(9*1)+(8*3)+(7*8)+(6*0)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*9)+(2*9)+(1*3)=142
142 % 10 = 2
So 1380109-93-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information, p. 5541 - 5552 (2013/07/26)

Herein we describe the structure-aided design and synthesis of a series of pyridone-conjugated monobactam analogues with in vitro antibacterial activity against clinically relevant Gram-negative species including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli. Rat pharmacokinetic studies with compound 17 demonstrate low clearance and low plasma protein binding. In addition, evidence is provided for a number of analogues suggesting that the siderophore receptors PiuA and PirA play a role in drug uptake in P. aeruginosa strain PAO1.
