The invention discloses a key intermediate for preparing ticagrelor, namely a compound represented by a formula (A), and further discloses a preparation method of the key intermediate, wherein the key intermediate is prepared from compounds represented by a formula (I) and a formula (II) and used as raw materials in a polar aprotic solvent in the presence of alkali and a catalyst.
