138850-84-7 Usage
General Description
The chemical "1-Propanol, 3-(methoxymethoxy)-2-(phenylmethoxy)-, 4-methylbenzenesulfonate, (S)-" is a specific enantiomer of a sulfonate compound that contains a propanol group, a methoxymethoxy group, a phenylmethoxy group, and a methylbenzenesulfonate group. 1-Propanol, 3-(methoxymethoxy)-2-(phenylmethoxy)-,
4-methylbenzenesulfonate, (S)- is a white to off-white powder that is typically used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. It has a wide range of potential applications in organic chemistry and chemical synthesis due to its unique structure and properties. This specific enantiomer is important in the development of chiral pharmaceuticals and other enantioselective processes.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 138850-84-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,8,8,5 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 138850-84:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*8)+(5*8)+(4*5)+(3*0)+(2*8)+(1*4)=157
157 % 10 = 7
So 138850-84-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of optically active lipopeptide analogs from the outer membrane of Escherichia coli

, p. 2590 - 2596 (2007/10/02)
The synthesis of optically active lipopeptide derivatives has been accomplished by the use of chiral glycerol derivatives. Lipopeptide derivatives with (R)-glycerol moieties showed higher mitogenic activities than those with the (S)-configuration. N-2,2,2-Trichloroethoxycarbonyl lipopeptide derivatives increased mitogenic activity.
