Usage

General Description

1-cyclohexyl-3-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)urea, also known as TFM (trifluralin), is a synthetic organic compound used as a pre-emergent herbicide to control the growth of grass and weeds in various agricultural and horticultural settings. TFM works by inhibiting the germination of weed seeds, preventing them from developing and competing with desired crops. It is a white crystalline solid with a slightly sweet odor, and is insoluble in water and most organic solvents. TFM is considered to have low toxicity to humans and animals, but is highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
