Carboxylic acids react with 7,7-dichlorobicyclohept-2-en-6-one in presence of triethylamine with the formation of cyclic substituted monochloro ketones, which in reaction with trialkyl phosphites give, as result of Perkow rearrangement, previously undescribed 5-(acyloxy)bicyclohepta-2,6-dien-6-yl dialkyl phosphates.
