New divinyl- and diallyl-borasiloxanes have been synthesized in good yield from corresponding boronic acids. They have been characterized by 1H-, 13C-, 29Si- and 11B-NMR, as well as by MS. Their behavior in metathesis reactions initiated by two different catalysts ([RhCl(COD)]2 for vinylsiloxanes and [Mo] Schrock's catalyst for allylsiloxanes) has been studied. This has led to new cycloborasiloxanes that have been characterized.
