, p. 5613 - 5615 (2003)
A one-carbon unit is lost in the condensation of α-chloro oxime ethers induced by lithium diisopropylamide [Eq. (1)]. This reaction, which provides alkynyl oxime ethers in good yields, is proposed to proceed via a 2-(iminomethyl)aza-cyclobutadiene intermediate.
Synthesis and Use of α-Diazo Oxime Ethers in the Synthesis of Ethylene Diketone Bis(O-methyloxime) Derivatives
Shatzmiller, Shimon,Bercovici, Sorin
, p. 877 - 878 (2007/10/02)
Reaction of the lithium salts of oxime ethers 4a-c with methanesulfonyl azide gives the α-diazo oxime ethers 5a-c.These novel compounds are stable up to 90 deg C, however, they decompose thermally in refluxing CCl4 and with PdCl2 catalysis to yield the et
