Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1422009-16-2 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,4,2,2,0,0 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1422009-16:
(9*1)+(8*4)+(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*6)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 1422009-16-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and decreasing Aβ content evaluation of arctigenin-4-yl carbamate derivatives

Xu, Xingyu,Li, Cong,Lei, Min,Zhu, Zhiyuan,Yan, Jianming,Shen, Xu,Hu, Lihong

supporting information, p. 2988 - 2991 (2016/06/13)

A series of arctigenin-4-yl carbamate derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for potency in reducing β-amyloid (Aβ) content in HEK293-APPswe cells. Most of the arctigenin-4-yl aralkyl or aryl carbamate derivatives showed improved potency in reducing Aβ content. Among the synthesized compounds, arctigenin-4-yl (3-chlorophenyl)carbamate (20) exhibited the strongest potency with 78.7% Aβ content reduction at 20 μM. Furthermore, the effect of arctigenin-4-yl (4-chlorophenyl)carbamate (19) and arctigenin-4-yl (3-chlorophenyl)carbamate (20) on lowing Aβ content was better than arctigenin under the concentrations of 1, 10 and 20 μM.

Paragraph 0106, (2013/03/26)

Chemical entities that are arctigenin derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treatment of cancer are described. Treatment encompasses administration of at least one compound of Formula I, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a mammalian subject, particularly a human subject, in need of such an administration and includes (i) arresting the development of clinical symptoms of the disease, such as cancer, (ii) bringing about a regression in the clinical symptoms of the disease, such as cancer, and/or (iii) prophylactic treatment for preventing the onset of the disease, such as cancer. Cancer refers to all types of cancer o neoplasm or malignant tumors found in mammals, including carcinomas and sarcomas. Examples of cancer are cancer of the brain, breast, cervix, colon, head and neck, kidney, lung, non-small cell lung, melanoma, mesothelioma, ovary, sarcoma, stomach, uterus and Medulloblastoma.
