Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1427744-54-4 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,4,2,7,7,4 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1427744-54:
(9*1)+(8*4)+(7*2)+(6*7)+(5*7)+(4*4)+(3*4)+(2*5)+(1*4)=174
174 % 10 = 4
So 1427744-54-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Design and synthesis of MMP inhibitors with appended fluorescent tags for imaging and visualization of matrix metalloproteinase enzymes

Freskos, John N.,Asmelash, Bethel,Gaston, Kimberly R.,Karwa, Amol,Marzan, Tim A.,Nickols, Maureen A.,Rogers, Thomas E.,Schoenstein, Tasha,Sympson, Carolyn J.,Vu, Bich

, p. 5566 - 5570 (2013/10/01)

We describe the synthesis, MMP-2 and 9 potency, and in vitro evaluation of a series of α-sulfone hydroxmate MMP inhibitors conjugated to a series of dyes with different absorption/emission lamina maxima's that can be used to visualize tumors.

OPTICAL AGENTS FOR IMAGING AND VISUALIZATION OF MATRIX METALLOPROTEINASE ENZYMES

-

, (2013/03/28)

The invention relates generally to optical agents for biomedical applications including imaging, visualization, phototherapy and diagnostic monitoring of cells and tissue expressing MMPs and/or tissues associated with the expression of MMPs. In some embodiments, for example, optical agents of the present invention selectively bind to, or otherwise preferentially associate with, a target tissue expressing one or more MMPs, and function to couple electromagnetic radiation into and/or out of the target tissue, for example via optical absorption, fluorescence, scattering and/or optoacoustic processes.
