The present invention relates to an oxindole dimers preparing method and, more specifically, to a method for preparing oxindole dimers via a reflux reaction after mixing 3-alkyl substituted oxindole with an oxidizing agent. The oxindole dimers preparing method according to the present invention forms single coupling directly at the C-3 position of the 3-alkyl substituted oxindole, thereby being capable of preparing the oxindole dimers at a high yield rate.
