N,N'-Dimethyl-N,N'-dinitrooxamide, also known as DMDO, is a highly potent and explosive chemical compound. It is a yellow crystalline solid and is highly volatile, making it sensitive to shock and friction. DMDO is commonly used as a high-energy, environmentally friendly and green oxidizer in rocket fuels, as well as in other military applications.
