Previously unknown compounds containing fluorosulfonyl and fluorosulfonyloxy groups at the same carbon atom were obtained by the reaction of peroxydisulfuryl fluoride with α-H-polyfluoroethanesulfonyl fluorides.The reactivity of the compounds toward Lewis acids and bases was evaluated.
