, p. 5483 - 5486 (2016)
Intracellular compartments make up roughly two-thirds of the body, but delivery of molecular imaging probes to these spaces can be challenging. This situation is particularly true for probes designed for detection by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a hi
Synthesis and Characterization of Vanadium(III) and Oxovanadium(IV/V) Species with Deprotonated Amide Ligands

, p. 643 - 645 (2007/10/02)
Reaction of the amide ligand N-pyridine-2-carboxamide (Hcapca) with VCl3 affords the compound trans- 1, the first example of a vanadium(III) comlex containing a vanadium-deprotonated amide nitrogen bond, while reaction of bis(pentane-2,4-dionato)oxovanadium(IV) with the related ligands 1,2-bis(2-hydroxybenzamido)benzene (H4hybeb) and 1-(2-hydroxybenzamido)-2-(2-pyridinecarboxamido)benzene (H3hypyb) yields the complexes Na2IVO(hybeb)> 2 and NaIVO(hypyb)> 3 respectively; the X-ray crystal structures of 1 and 3 are reported.
