Used as a Catalyst in Organic Syntheses:
In the field of organic chemistry, antimony tetrachloromonofluoride is employed as a catalyst to facilitate specific chemical reactions. Its catalytic properties enable more efficient and selective syntheses of complex organic molecules, which are vital in pharmaceutical, agricultural, and material science applications.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 14913-58-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,4,9,1 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 14913-58:
(7*1)+(6*4)+(5*9)+(4*1)+(3*3)+(2*5)+(1*8)=107
107 % 10 = 7
So 14913-58-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The active species for the liquid phase fluorination of tetrachloroethene (PCE) was produced by in situ reaction between HF and SbCl5. By comparison with various commercial antimony mixed halides (SbCl4F, SbCl3F2, SbCl2F3 and SbClF4), the active species, produced in situ in our conditions, could be composed by SbCl4F or/and SbCl3F2 or a mixture of both.
