. Results

To identify the active species for the fluorina-
tion of PCE under our conditions, the reactivity
of various commercial antimony mixed halides

quenched with 20 ml 6 M H SO . The organic
tested for the transformation of the PCE. The
catalytic activity of these antimony mixed
halides was compared in Table 1 to the in situ
SbCl preprepared with HF and to SbCl with-
