Dimethyl phosphorisocyanatidite reacts with nitrilimines, which have electron-acceptor substituents, at the carbon atom following the -cycloaddition scheme, resulting in two adducts, namely 4-methoxy-1,2,5,4λ5-triazaphosphorines and 4-hydroxy-1,2,5,4λ5-triazaphosphorines.
