Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 149950-35-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,4,9,9,5 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 149950-35:
(8*1)+(7*4)+(6*9)+(5*9)+(4*5)+(3*0)+(2*3)+(1*5)=166
166 % 10 = 6
So 149950-35-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Palladium-catalyzed direct arylation of phenols with aryl iodides

Long, Rongrong,Yan, Xufei,Wu, Zhiqing,Li, Zhengkai,Xiang, Haifeng,Zhou, Xiangge

, p. 3571 - 3574 (2015)

An efficient protocol of palladium-catalyzed direct para-arylation of unfunctionalized phenols with aryl iodides under mild conditions was reported. A variety of substrates were applied in this reaction with yields up to 87%.

(4-HYDROXYPYRROLIDIN-2-YL)-HYDROXAMATE COMPOUNDS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

-

Paragraph 0684, (2019/05/15)

The present disclosure relates to bifunctional compounds, which can be used as modulators of targeted ubiquitination. In particular, the present disclosure is directed to compounds which contain on one end a VHL ligand moiety, which binds to the VHL E3 ubiquitin ligase, and on the other end a moiety that binds a target protein such that degradation of the target protein/polypeptide is effectuated. Also disclosed are VHL ligands.

INSULIN-LIKE GROWTH FACTOR-1 RECEPTOR INHIBITORS

-

Page/Page column 112; 113, (2013/10/21)

The present invention relates to compounds that are capable of inhibiting, modulating and/or regulating Insulin-Like-Growth Factor I Receptor and Insulin Receptor. The compounds of the instant invention possess a core structure that comprises a sulfonyl indole moiety. The present invention is also related to the pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates and stereoisomers of these compounds.

Synthesis of hydroxylated oligoarene-type phosphines by a repetitive two-step method

Ishikawa, Shunpei,Manabe, Kei

supporting information; experimental part, p. 297 - 303 (2010/03/24)

Hydroxylated oligoarene-type phosphines with various substitution patterns were synthesized. Such phosphines have potential as ligands for transition metal-catalyzed reactions. A successful route, which includes a repetitive Suzuki-Miyaura coupling-triflation sequence, reduction, and salt formation, was established starting from 2-bromophenyldicyclohexylphosphine oxide. Other key aspects of the method are the use of suitable triflation reagents and the formation of phosphines as HBF4 salts. Interesting information was obtained from careful analysis of the byproducts in the triflation and reduction steps, and the mechanisms for their formation were proposed.

ERbeta ligands. Part 1: the discovery of ERbeta selective ligands which embrace the 4-hydroxy-biphenyl template.

Edsall Jr., Richard J,Harris, Heather A,Manas, Eric S,Mewshaw, Richard E

, p. 3457 - 3474 (2007/10/03)

The synthesis and structure-activity relationships of a series of simple biphenyls is described. Optimization of the 4-hydroxy-biphenyl template led to compounds with ERbeta selectivity on the order of 20-70-fold.

Steric Effects and Liquid Crystal Behaviour. Properties of the Liquid Crystals Formed by Certain 2'-Fluoro, and 2'-Chloro-4-Biphenylyl 4"-n-Alkoxybenzoates: A Comparison with Analogous 4-(2'-Pyridyl)Phenyl 4"-n-Alkoxybenzoates

Byron, D. J.,Lacey, D.,Wilson, R. C.

, p. 273 - 282 (2007/10/02)

Eight 2'-fluoro- and six 2'-chloro-4-biphenylyl 4"-n-alkoxybenzoates have been prepared and their liquid crystal phases have been investigated. The properties of these esters, in which the halogeno-substituent exerts a steric effect which influences liquid crystal behaviour, are compared with those of the analogous 4-(2'-pyridyl)phenyl 4"-alkoxybenzoates in an attempt to evaluate the steric effect of the hetero-nitrogen atom.
