Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 153873-83-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,3,8,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 153873-83:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*3)+(5*8)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*8)+(1*3)=157
157 % 10 = 7
So 153873-83-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Preparation method of alkyl cyclohexylbromobenzene

-

Paragraph 0039-0045; 0048, (2020/05/08)

The invention discloses a preparation method of alkyl cyclohexylbromobenzene. The method comprises the following steps: performing a synthesis reaction by adopting one of alkyl cyclohexylbenzene, alkyl dicyclohexylbenzene and biphenyl as a raw material, adopting bromine as a bromine source and adopting an oxidant as a catalyst; washing a synthetic product with water until neutrality to obtain a crude product organic phase; then adding a solvent into the crude product organic phase; heating to a boiling state and refluxing; and finally cooling and performing filtration to obtain a product. Themethod has characteristics of low cost, high yield, no waste gas and no solid waste generation, environmental protection, and is suitable for promotion and use.
