Succinyl bis-N-phenylhydroxamic acid (L) produces new organotin complexes of the types , 2L and 2L which have been characterised on the basis of elemental analyses, IR and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectral data.The spectral and analytical data indicate that in , the ligand is tetradentate, whereas in 2L and 2L, the ligand is bidentate in nature.
