Trioxodinitrate, also known as dinitrogen trioxide, is a chemical compound with the formula N2O3. It is an unstable and highly reactive nitrogen oxide that exists as a colorless gas at room temperature. trioxodinitrate is formed through the reaction of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) with oxygen (O2) under specific conditions. Although it is not commonly found in nature, it plays a role in atmospheric chemistry, particularly in the formation of smog and acid rain. Due to its instability, N2O3 readily decomposes into NO and NO2, making it challenging to isolate and study. It is also a greenhouse gas and contributes to global warming, as it can react with other atmospheric components to form nitric acid and other nitrogen-containing compounds.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 15435-67-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,4,3 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15435-67:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*4)+(4*3)+(3*5)+(2*6)+(1*7)=103
103 % 10 = 3
So 15435-67-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
