Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 15721-05-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,7,2 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15721-05:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*7)+(4*2)+(3*1)+(2*0)+(1*5)=88
88 % 10 = 8
So 15721-05-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of high-purity heptamethylchlorocyclotetrasiloxane
Martynova,Voronkov
, p. 921 - 922 (2007/10/03)
The procedures of preparation of heptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (CH3)7Si4O4H in a 60% yield, its exhaustive purification, and its chlorination to form (CH3)7Si4O4Cl in a quantitative yield were developed. The composition of heptamethylchlorocyclotetrasiloxane and the content of alkali and heavy metal impurities in this compound, permissible for materials used in electronics, were determined by elemental analysis, gas-liquid chromatography, flame photometry, and atomic absorption analysis.
