Synthesis and transformations of metallacycles 46. Catalytic cycloalumination reaction in the synthesis of bis(phospholanes)
D’yakonov,Makhamatkhanova,Agliullina,Tyumkina,Dzhemilev
, p. 2493 - 2497 (2016/09/28)
An efficient one-pot synthesis of bis(phospholanes) was elaborated, which included a sequential Cp2ZrCl2-catalyzed cycloalumination of α,ω-diolefins with AlEt3, giving the corresponding bis(aluminacyclopentanes), and their in situ reaction with dihalophosphines to furnish the target α,ω-bis(phospholanes). The reaction of these compounds with H2O2 or elementary sulfur gave the corresponding bis(phospholane 1-oxides) and bis(phospholane 1-sulfides).
Transformations of Saturated Hydrocarbons at Room Temperature in the Presence of the Fullerene C60-Aluminum Bromide-Hydrochloric Acid System
Nekhaev,Bagrii
, p. 383 - 386 (2007/10/03)
The fullerene C60-aluminum bromide-hydrochloric acid system can mediate the isomerization, alkylation, and dehydrogenation reactions of n-decane, decalin, and 1,3-dimethyladamantane at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The saturated hydrocarbons can be arranged according to reactivity in the following series: decalin > n-decane > 1,3-dimethyladamantane.
Synthesis of (S)-2-(2-Methylbutyl)thiophene (1)
Menicagli, R.,Botteghi, C.,Marchetti, M.
, p. 57 - 59 (2007/10/02)
Optically active (S)-2-(2-methylbutyl)thiophene was obtained by different procedures.Among them, the cross-coupling reaction between 2-methylbutylmagnesium chloride and 2-chlorothiophene proved to be the most efficient one.Compound 1 was thus obtained in satisfactory yield and rather high optical purity (82percent).
