The chemical compound "N2,N2,N4,N4,N6,N6,N8,N8-octaethyl-1,3,5,7-tetraza-2$l^{5},4$l^{5},6$l^ {5},8$l^{5}-tetraphosphacycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetraene-2,2,4,4,6,6,8,8-oct amine" is a complex, cyclic molecule that features a tetraza-tetraphosphacycloocta core structure. This structure is composed of alternating nitrogen and phosphorus atoms arranged in a cyclic pattern, with each nitrogen atom being part of a tetraene moiety, indicating the presence of four double bonds. The compound is further characterized by the presence of eight ethyl groups attached to the nitrogen atoms, which contribute to its overall structure and properties. This molecule is an example of a phosphazene derivative, a class of compounds known for their versatility and potential applications in various fields due to their unique electronic and steric properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1635-66-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,6,3 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1635-66:
(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*3)+(3*5)+(2*6)+(1*6)=81
81 % 10 = 1
So 1635-66-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Phosphorus-Nitrogen Compounds. Part 50. Further Studies on the Formation of Bicyclic Cyclotetraphosphzatetraene Derivates

Contractor, Sorab R.,Kilic, Zeynel,Shaw, Robert A.

, p. 2023 - 2030 (2007/10/02)

The reaction of hexachloro-2,6-bis(ethylamino)cyclotetraphosphazatetraene, N4P4Cl6(NHEt)2, with pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, diethylamine, or cyclopropylamine give bicyclic N4P4(NRR')5(NHEt)(NEt), as well as monocyclic derivates N4P4(NRR')6(NHEt)2 (NRR' = pyrrolidino, piperidino, morpholino, diehylamino, or cyclopropilamino). The reaction of N4P4Cl6 with cyclopropylamine give bicyclic, N4P4(NHC3H5)6(NC3H5), and monocyclic, N4P4(NHC3H5)8, products, the former being the first structure of its kind with an α-brached alkyl group at the bridgehead to be isolated.Sailent features of the H(1) and P(31) n.m.r. spectra of the bicyclic phosphazanes are discussed and related to their stuctures.Likely reaction mechanisms are considered.
