Generalization of the Benzotriazole-Mediated Introduction of N-Substituents into Amides
Katritzky, Alan R.,Ignatchenko, Alexey V.,Lang, Hengyuan
, p. 4002 - 4005 (1995)
N-(Benzotriazol-1-ylmethyl) amides 2, easily available by condensation of BtCH2OH with amides, are used for the preparation of a variety of N-substituted amides such as the homoallyl, 1,3-butadienyl, and 2,2-diphenylcyclopropyl derivatives by displacement
New N-mannich bases
Pernak,Weglewski,Szymanska
, p. 1135 - 1142 (2007/10/03)
Amides, aldehydes and benzotriazole or morpholine react, with the elimination of water to form N-Mannich bases or N,N′-arylidene symmetrical diamides in good or very good yields. We also found that amides, aldehydes and 1,2,4-triazole react to form a new N-[1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)alkyl]amides with a 58-85% yield.
