Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 165803-62-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,6,5,8,0 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 165803-62:
(8*1)+(7*6)+(6*5)+(5*8)+(4*0)+(3*3)+(2*6)+(1*2)=143
143 % 10 = 3
So 165803-62-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Enzymatic approach to unnatural glycosides with diverse aglycon scaffolds using glycosyltransferase VinC

Minami, Atsushi,Uchida, Rei,Eguchi, Tadashi,Kakinuma, Katsumi

, p. 6148 - 6149 (2005)

Glycosyltransferase VinC was explored for a construction of glycoside libraries using dTDP-vicenisamine and structurally unrelated unnatural aglycons, and new unnatural vicenisaminides were successfully constructed. Structural elements of aglycon recognit

ALKYNYL PHENYL DERIVATIVE COMPOUNDS FOR TREATING OPHTHALMIC DISEASES AND DISORDERS

-

Page/Page column 196, (2009/03/07)

Provided are alkynyl phenyl derivative compounds, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of treating ophthalmic diseases and disorders, such as age-related macular degeneration and Stargardt's Disease, using said compounds and compositions.

DERIVATIVES OF ALKYLPIPERAZINE AND ALKYLHOMOPIPERAZINE-CARBOXYLATES, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND USE OF SAME AS FATTY ACID AMIDO HYDROLASE ENZYME INHIBITORS

-

Page/Page column 9, (2008/06/13)

The present invention comprises alkylpiperazine- and alkylhomopiperazine carboxylates and their derivatives, methods for their preparation and the therapeutic use thereof as fatty acid amido hydrolase (FAAH) enzyme inhibitors. These derivatives exert various pharmacological activities by interacting, inter alia, with cannabinoid and vanilloid receptors. By inhibiting the metabolic activity of the FAAH enzyme, compounds often responsible for the onset of disease and other pathological conditions are not generated and the incidence of the disease is greatly reduced.
