173097-13-7 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 173097-13-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,7,3,0,9 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 173097-13:
(8*1)+(7*7)+(6*3)+(5*0)+(4*9)+(3*7)+(2*1)+(1*3)=137
137 % 10 = 7
So 173097-13-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Reactions of Polyhalogenated 4-Arylsulfonylimino-2-cyclohexenones and 3,6-Bis(arylsulfonylimino)cyclohexenes with Alcohols

Avdeenko, A. P.,Zhukova, S. A.

, p. 423 - 427 (2007/10/03)

Polyhalogenated 4-arylsulfonylimino-2-cylohexenones and 3,6-bis(arylsulfonylimino)cyclohexenes react with alcohols to give 1,2-addition products at the C=N bond through intermediate formation of N-arylsulfonylimino-p-quinonimines. Heating of the adducts above the melting point results in elimination of alcohol molecule and formation of quinoid structures.

CHLORINATION OF N,N'-BISARYLSULFONYL-1,4-PHENYLENEDIAMINES AND N,N'-BISARYLSULFONYL-1,4-BENZOQUINONE DIIMINES

Avdeenko, A. P.,Velichko, N. V.,Tolmachev, A. A.,Pirozhenko, V. V.,Romanenko, E. A.

, p. 146 - 154 (2007/10/02)

The chlorination of N,N'-bisarylsulfonyl-1,4-phenylenediamines leads to 1,4-bisarylsulfonylimino-2,3,5,5,6,6-hexachloro-2-cyclohexenes.Together with the chlorination products chloranil and/or 2,3,5,5,6,6-hexachloro-1,2-cyclohexene-1,4-dione were isolated as a result of the competing hydrolysis process.
