A flexible approach to different families of bidentate P,P ligands as highly efficient ligands for asymmetric catalysis
Berens, Ulrich,Englert, Ulli,Geyser, Stefan,Runsink, Jan,Salzer, Albrecht
, p. 2100 - 2109 (2006)
A novel and versatile approach has led to the synthesis of various classes of mono- and bidentate phospholane and phosphinite ligands based on a benzothiophene scaffold. The ligand functions in the bidentate ligands can be introduced independently and consecutively. A bis-phospolane ligand as well as its rhodium complex have been characterized by crystal-structure determinations. The bis-phospholane ligands were tested in the catalysed asymmetric homogeneous hydrogenation of dehydroamino acid derivatives, enamides and itaconates and gave ee values of up to 98.7 %. A simple synthesis of polyfunctionalized 4-aminopyrazolidin-3-ones as 'aza-deoxa' analogs of D-cycloserine

, p. 245 - 267 (2014/03/21)
A simple five-step synthesis of fully substituted (4RS,5RS)-4- aminopyrazolidin-3-ones as analogs of D-cycloserine was developed. It comprises a two-step preparation of 5-substituted (4RS,5RS)-4-(benzyloxycarbonylamino) pyrazolidin-3-ones, reductive alkyl
In situ alcohol oxidation-Wittig reactions using non-stabilised phosphoranes
Blackburn, Leonie,Pei, Chengxin,Taylor, Richard J. K.
, p. 215 - 218 (2007/10/03)
New procedures have been developed which allow the in situ alcohol oxidation-Wittig reaction using manganese dioxide to be employed with non-stabilised phosphoranes and stabilised phosphonate anions. A number of examples are described utilising benzylic, allylic and propargylic alcohols.
