The fact that many thienopyrimidine derivatives were established as antiulcer agents, hypocholesterolemic drugs, sedatives antitussives, bactericidal against streptococcus and as fungicidal against pythium has led us to synthesize some of their new derivatives.

It is well known that the thienopyrimidine derivatives exhibit high potential biological activities, such as analgesic activities, antihyperlipemic activity, gastric antisecretory activity and are used as bactericidal against streptococcus fungicidal against pythium, antiulcer agents hypocholesterolemic drugs, sedatives and antitussives on the basis of these findings we wish to report here the synthesis of some new substituted azolothienopyrimidine and pyrimidothienotriazine derivatives.
