Additionally, nordentatin is used as a subject of research for its potential anticancer properties. Its ability to target and affect cancer cells has placed it on the radar for further exploration in oncology.
Nordentatin is also used as an anti-inflammatory agent. Its potential to reduce inflammation has made it a candidate for studies aimed at understanding and treating inflammatory conditions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 17820-07-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,7,8,2 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 17820-07:
(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*8)+(4*2)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*7)=104
104 % 10 = 4
So 17820-07-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and cytotoxicity of coumarin derivatives and nordentatin

Promsuwan, Pawantree,Yenjai, Chavi

, p. 3629 - 3632 (2013/05/09)

Nordentatin and 10 coumarin derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for cytotoxicity. Compounds 6, 7, 9 and 13 showed cytotoxicity against the NCI-H187 cell line with IC50 value ranging of 3-7 μg/mL. Among synthesized coumarins, compounds 4 and 13 demonstrated cytotoxicity against the KB cell line with IC50 values of 3.94 and 6.44 μg/mL, respectively. Fortunately, coumarins 4 and 7 may be one of the new lead compounds for the development of anticancer agents due to reason that they showed weak and inactive against normal cells.
