Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 18425-76-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,8,4,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 18425-76:
(7*1)+(6*8)+(5*4)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*6)=118
118 % 10 = 8
So 18425-76-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Improved Synthesis of Glucosinolates

Lim, Yi Wee,Ong, Michelle Jui Hsien,Hewitt, Russell J.

supporting information, p. 1640 - 1650 (2018/02/06)

Herein we describe an improved synthesis of glucosinolates, in which the quantity and cost of materials have been reduced by approximately an order of magnitude compared to typical literature procedures. This allowed us to produce multiple glucosinolates in 10-25 gram batches using vessel sizes no larger than 0.5 litres.

FIRST SYNTHESIS OF ALPHA GLUCOSINOLATES

Blanc-Muesser, M.,Driguez, H.,Joseph, B.,Viaud, M. C.,Rollin, P.

, p. 3867 - 3868 (2007/10/02)

A general synthesis of the alpha-anomers of naturally occurring glucosinolates is proposed.

Synthesis of glucosinolates

Gil,MacLeod

, p. 779 - 783 (2007/10/02)

A high yielding synthesis of 2-phenethylglucosinolate is described. The method should also be directly applicable to most (if not all) other glucosinolates.
