PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex having high gas adsorbing and desorbing capability which can be an adsorbing-desorbing agent, a separation agent or a hydrogen storage material. SOLUTION: There is provided a fluorine-containing cobalt complex represented by the formula (1).
